Expanding Tournaments with League Teams

Is it possible to expand a tournament that selects its teams from leagues? I cannot figure out how to do so.

When I go into 'Edit League Structure,' it gives me the option to add new teams. That button, however, creates a brand new team. I only wanted to add a spot for my league team!

I think you are right there, but the new team that is created has a name for me (Team Citadelles). Just hit the drop-down, select the league, then team you want to add. Repeat for as many teams you want to add, then don't forget to click on Generate Schedule.
