Administrator/ Commissioner possibly sought

The Commissioner's of the Maelstrom have plans to lend the Maelstrom name to other forays. We have several ideas for endeavors involving OOTP tournaments, challenges, etc. These have absolutely nothing to do with our Baseball Maelstrom online league, though we would be using Maelstrom webspace to host some of these ideas.

We have found that we really don't have the extra time to do everything that we want to do without taking time away from our league, and we do not want to do that.

Therefore, we are seeking preliminary information for a Commissioner-type person to help us out.

The right candidate will have:
1) Experience - Much OOTP5 experience with experience at running leagues a plus. This includes the ins and outs of doing things that are time intensive and may push the limits of the game engine.
2) Integrity - we need a trustworthy individual who we would feel comfortable giving FTP access to and the Maelstrom reputation.
3) Time - this is going to require a fair amount of time from the individual as they set up and run these ideas.
4) Dedication for the long haul - We don't want someone who is going to be with us for only a short time. We want someone that is committed for the long haul.
4) Respect for authority

- we want to undertake our ideas primarily. This doesn't mean we are totally opposed to the ideas that the candidate would have, but Mr. Dugan and myself would have final say on what kinds of events we would sponsor.
5) Ability to work well with others - namely Mr. Dugan and myself. If we received several great candidates, we would also think about having them split duties.

What we provide:
1) Ideas - We have several interesting ideas that we feel would be interesting for the OOTP community to follow.
2) Webspace - We would host the area on the Maelstrom webspace.
3) A creative outlet - Though we would have final say on the kinds of events sponsored, we would give nearly free reign over the design of the area used to house these.
4) A chance to be a part of something big - We feel that we have a few ideas that the OOTP5 community has really not seen yet.

After all of this, I want to also add this disclaimer: As I said above, this is just to judge what type of interest we would have for finding someone to help us out. We still need to work out the particulars involved.
