Post Ootp1, about Manager Records

OOTP1,

Do you see maybe in the future of adding records for managers and an option to manually retire players for people who like to replay history the way it happened. No biggie just curious.

Not certain really although the ability to retire players has been discussed.

Thanks for quick response and like i said its no biggie cause id rather see ootp4 to its full potential and then if Markus wants time to develop another sports simulation, before bothering with coding that feature

To get players to manually retire:

Right when the season ends, enter the editor, set their age to 50+(to be safe!!) and wahlah, he figures hes too old.

Then after hes done retired, change his year back if you wish.

But of course if you won't want to do all that..

You could always give the player a career ending injury (enter 254 as the length of recovery) to retire a player. Just release him into the FA pool and he will almost always retire once you proceed to the next season.

Isn't there an outside utility that allows you to retire and unretire players?
