OOTP 18/19 New Fantasy Draft League (Modern League)

Good afternoon everyone, I am currently the commish of the Federal Baseball League (FBL - http://www.fbl-ootp.com) and I am looking to start up a modern-day league that will begin with a fantasy draft on OOTP 19 once it is released. TSome features of the league are:

Reduced minor league teams to AAA, AA, A, and Rookie League for simplicity to manage.
Complete control of your franchise from day 1 where we all start on a level playing field.
League financials that will mirror real-life markets.
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday sim schedule for maximum team management.
Scouts will be on, coaches off with a 20-80 rating scale.
Scouting accuracy will be very high.
A cash prize will be awarded to the World Series winner and the top, non-playoff participant based on a point system that awards activity, sportsmanship, and export activity.
The use of Stats Plus and communication with Slack (everything will be completed in Slack).
And much more!

The league financials will be standard by current league markets. That means team selection will still matter. This will allow owners to select teams that have large budgets/markets, medium budgets/markets, and small market clubs. The inaugural draft will take place in StatsPlus and be lenient enough so everyone can make their picks. Initial draft budgets will be set to mirror the team's market size to preserve small, medium, and large markets in the current MLB world. Below are the team budgets (as taken from the game) and if they are taken by another owner.

A few questions that have popped up thus far....the draft will snake and the order will be randomized (I will use a live selection process). We will conduct the draft on StatsPlus and should easily finish before the launch of OOTP 19.

Starting to fill up. Just to clarify a few things...we will be drafting in OOTP 18 and porting the league over to OOTP 19 so that ratings won't change.

Just importing the OOTP 18 game into OOTP 19 ?

They are going to be real-life rosters.

They will all be real life rosters. Now the purpose was going to be to start the draft in 18 and port the league over to 19 which would require us to use the 18 ratings. The alternative would be to wait until 19 drops to have the draft then with updated ratings...which I am open too if the rest of the league is.

EDIT: After discussing with current members, we will be waiting for OOTP 19 to hold the draft so we can utilize the up to date rosters/ratings.

Fellas, one thing I want to push to ensure activity and my commitment is the prize structure I currently have in place with the fictional league:

League prizes will be established to increase activity within the league. There will be two main prizes handed out,
each of $25 sent via PayPal. The first prize will be sent to the Federalist Cup Champion while the second will be

GM of the Year Prize
The GM of the Year is awarded to the one, non
-playoff GM that expresses a number of traits throughout the year.
This will be awarded through a point system with the following breakdown:

Every Article = 3 points (cap of 5 per season)
•
Team Preview = 3 points (limit 1 per year before the end of spring training
•
Amateur Draft Recap = 3 points (limit 1 per year before the end of June)

Participating in league votes, including all
-star balloting (2 points each)
Penalties Include:

Abusive behavior toward another owner in the chat or via email = loss of 5 points
All cheating will result in immediate removal
