Poor Manager Reputation bug?

I started a new game as manager. His reputation was poor to start with. After one season, I won the world series and manager of the year...Starting season 2, his reputation is still poor? I don't think the game use to do this...is this a bug?

age and/or experience can be a factor.

take a "excellent" coach and type "1" for years of experience with comish mode on and it should reduce significantly. most likely the cause.

it takes a bit for reputation to rise, initially.
