Help needed = New laptop

I have successfully moved everything from my old laptop to my new one but I am having an issue with where the saved games and other editable data are being stored for FHM4

I put my saved game in my

documents/Out of the Park Developments/ Franchise Hockey Manager 4 folder just as it was on my old laptop.

However, the game wants store to everything in my One Drive/documents folder.

I have the same issue with OOTP18. Both games want to install everything to the One Drive/Documents folder instead of the main documents folder on my hard drive. How do I change this?

I do not see an in-game setting to change the data path so I suppose I needed to edit the FHM4 default_folders file like I did with OOTP18, but it doesn't seem to work. My assumption is it has something to do with being on steam where OOTP18 wasn't steam.

I tried changing the custom_folder.ini file in steam to this but everytime I start the game it reloads all the data into the OneDrive folder.
Code:
[Folders]
FHMAppFolder=C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Franchise Hockey Manager 4
FHMCustFolder=C:\Users\smcca\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\Franchise Hockey Manager 4
Any suggestions?

I think that default installation to One Drive is actually something that Windows is doing, not us. If you right-click the One Drive icon, then choose Settings - Auto save - Documents and Pictures, there should be an option to switch between "This PC only" and "OneDrive" - I'm guessing it's set to OneDrive right now and our installation just follows that default.

That was exactly the issue. Switching from OneDrive to This PC Only as you suggested did the trick. Much appreciated. Thanks
