SP advice in an NHL league

I am starting a new NHL style league. 84 game sched. teams have 2 SP.
However I would like one SP to pitch more than the other 60-40 even 70-30 to split the games.
Question for you guys, how to set up the stamina factors to get that.

Should the SP stamina be high? Sometimes start highest rested?
I also want to use some bullpens in the game, maybe 3 RP, so I was going to have use relievers normal, use closer often.

Would that work, or are my pitchers going to be fatigued still?
I know I can run a test league and try some stuff out, but thought I would ask first in case someone has already tried this type of league.

Not uncommon in the 19th century though.

Stamina High
Start Highest Rested
Use of Relievers Often to Normal or Rarely.

i did a test run of a 4 sports leagues back around OOTP 12. We have more options for pens now. Hockey i only used 2 SP 2 pen. NFL I used 1 SP with 1 to 2 bullpen.
One of these days i'm going to revive that league.

One way of doing it without having to mess with stamina settings or things like that, is to simply stretch out your schedule. The NHL played 82 games over 180 days for the 2016-17 season, so if you spread our your games over a similar time period you'd end up with, most of the time, only three games per week (26 weeks x 3 games per week = 78 games). And with three games in a week spread out evenly through the week, you can get by with a two-man rotation as they'll usually have four days off between starts.

Thanks for the replies.
I think orange is probably the best idea, which is to draw out the sched over a long period of time, keep starters at normal and as such the top guy should be ok to start most games, i will sched games ever sat-sun, so the 2 pitchers must be used on the weekend. Have another start wed or something similar.

I figured you already had that planned out. i used the NHL schedule for my NHL part & a NFL schedule for the NFL part along with NBS and MLB. You will have to manually edit spring training.
