First Year Draft Negotiation Help -- New User
I finished my first year draft, entered negotiations, and have received about 5 or 6 players acceptance of my offers (2 rejected). The message told me these players would be in the DFA screen of the lowest minor leagues, and I'm having trouble figuring out what this means. I went to the minor league screens and they aren't on any of the minor league teams, and I also went to the DFA screen and its completely empty. What am I missing, Im sure it's something simple and I'm just overlooking it but I've been searching for about an hour and I must keep missing it.
Thanks. |

they should go automatically to your rookie league team (AZL, DSL, etc.)

I wish. They aren't on any of my rosters, I even did organization search using their last names and they aren't anywhere.

Another way to find them would be to go to your Transaction Log (on the Rosters & Transactions tab), then scroll to the day of your draft where you will see a listing of all the players you drafted. Click on the player's name, which will bring up his profile page. In the Personal Details section on the left, it will show what team he is on.

think he means the 2 he couldn't sign... ah, did oyu erase the emails? if not, their names/links to profile will be there.
maybe FA -> pending offers? i play with it off, but there's got to be a screen with them.... --- there are good reasons to leave draft slot $$$ on, but i'm just going to play devil's advocate... good reasons to turn it off: no draft pick trading no abuse from humans (if all ai and 1 human, not likely even possible) the original reason was because amatuers would ask for too much money relative to round picked and hope to be passed over until next year and maintain hopes for a bigger payday, or force extra money from higher in the draft. pfft to greed on both sides. in RL this system pretty much cleaned that nonsense up... in the game, if you turn it off you do not have any odd problems like that.. keep it only if it's very important for oyu to mimic RL as much as possible.. or challenge mode etc |
