Scorer knows before umpire!

I am having a problem with watching a game. I have my PBP set to Per Character, Very Slow and game sound Enabled. That's about it. But I am noticing that the balls and strikes are coming thru before a player even steps to the plate. And the balls and strikes are being displayed before each and every pitch! Is there a way to change this??
It will say something like "Here's Eric Hosmer, he's one for one today." And when you look at the balls and strikes, it already says Balls 1 Strikes 0 before the first pitch to him.

Can someone help me? I have tried to solve this myself and I cant seem to do it. I've tried Per Line, Per Character, fast speed. slow speed, ...the balls, strikes and pitch speed comes before anything happens. Help?!?!

Do you have the game set in one-pitch mode? If you're doing that it's going to randomly generate a count before your batter steps up; you can switch to pitch-by-pitch to play out every pitch of the game.

No. I see every single pitch. I didnt have this trouble with '17.
