Custom Playoff editing?

Shouldn't there be more options?

Adding series. I wasn't paying attention and I had a first place team that was omitted from the playoffs.

Bye. This would be a nice option when things get messed up later on in the playoffs when you have 6 teams remaining .

I did edit one series and after one game the series was gone(with no more games scheduled in the best-of-7 series).

changing stuff midstream isn't such a good idea, make sure to change it before the playoffs at least.

you should be able to maually schedule playoff games - as long as still between calendar events "plagoffs begin / end"

things don't get messed up in the playoffs, they get setup in a way that doesn't work

so, don't make a playoff system that isn't 2-4-8-16-32-64.. etc unless you incorporate byes and such. this stuff doesn't just srping itself on you without warning, it is planned out ahead of time -- whehter good or bad setup.

i use a custom schedule every year - same one - nfl-style with top 2 teams getting a bye, but only 6/30 teams make it (3 10t divisions that only play within division, best 2 divisions winners get a bye first round, all works well)

I always play a 70 team playoff(two conferences,29 teams per conference first round bye). Leaving 12 teams to play in the first round(6 per conference).

The second round is 64 teams.

The third round is 32 teams.

The fourth round is 16 teams.

The fifth round is 8 teams.

The sixth round is 4 teams.

The seventh round is for the Championship.

It almost never happens that way. I need to check the playoff setup many times before it becomes playoff time to prevent everything from going south.
