Ever wanted to be an MLB Beat Writer?

Well, that would take years of training, and that's not why I'm here. You can, however, do the next best thing and apply to Beta Baseball. We need members for the Fan/Press position. What does the Fan/Press position do? Let's go to the rules:

BB's Rules Document:
The Fans/Press must write at least one article per week about their team and, if they want, elsewhere around the league too. For now, these articles are to be posted on the message board, but soon enough they'll be posted on the main site. In that article, the Fans/Press must praise/complain about the team execs' actions. They will have an impact on the fan interest in the game.

Each team has four positions: The Owner, GM, Manager, and Fan/Press. As you read, the fan's job is to complain about or praise the job that the executives have done with their club. Of course, there is the opportunity for advancement, as Fan/Press members who complain loudly enough may just get an offer from an Owner who decides that it's time for that guy to either put up or shut up. We're about ready to start, all we need are these members and we're ready to go.

Keep in mind that if you want to be a GM or Manager someday, you have good odds if you're a fan/press.
