Owner Goal: Increase ticket sales

Anyone have good advice on how to increase ticket sales? I get this goal every year (through 2.5 seasons) and have failed to reach that goal.

Any recommended strategies? My main strategy has been to bring in talent and win games....which I am doing very well in so far this season but still ticket sales are lacking.

Increase Fan Interest
Lower ticket prices.

Both of those will increase attendance

I know you can increase Fan Interest by signing popular FA's and/or extending contracts of locally popular players. Anything else that can increase fan interest?

Nothing immediate other than what you mentioned. Fielding a winning ballclub will increase it over time

if budget isn't going to be a concern, just drop ticket price a bit...

owner goals are not necessary... you don't have to meet all of them.. in fact it may be in your best long-term interest to ignore some of them. so, do the ones you can easily do without any negative effects... earn some brownie points so you can ignore him when you need to.

Dropping ticket prices will do it. In fact, if you have a decent team, a $3 drop will likely boost attendance enough to increase your ticket revenue.

My owner wanted an average of 36000 per game. My stadium held 35000.
????????
Had to manually adjust my capacity to 37000.

Starnge!

Along this line four seasons past one of my goals was to increase attendance to 36,378 per game----problem was my seating capacity in the stadium was 32,000----needless to say I did not accomplish my goal !!!
