Rainouts
I have a question about rain outs. I just had one against the Dodgers (last game of series).
The game rescheduled the game as apart of a double header in Los Angeles during May. Will I be the home team for that game? Will the game give me 80% of the gate receipts? I am just curious what will happen as I play out all of my games and this is the first rain out that I have had. Thanks. |

Depends, Which club was the home team in the postponed game? OOTP will arrange so that it will be the home team in the make up game, regardless of it perhaps looking odd on the schedule screen. (Something supposedly to do with limitations in the financial engine if clubs don't their full allotment of home games).

If you were the home team then you will still be the home team in the doubleheader make up game. As said already, it's going to look weird on the schedule screen. It will say Dodgers vs (Your team) and the second game that same day will be (Your team) at Dodgers.
Yeah, it's weird to think that a team would have a doubleheader in two different stadiums but it's the best way to manage this IMO. |
