Tournament Auto-Calc?
I tried to set up a 20-game annual tournament, and simmed ahead a couple of years to see if it was going to turn out okay. For the most part it seemed to work fine, but I noticed I was getting some truly wacky amounts of offense--the "league" ERA for the first year was 10.94, and there were multiple guys hitting over .500 with 20+ HRs. After looking through the settings, I realized that while the League Totals (under Stats & AI) were correct, the modifiers were all still at 1.000. The box to automatically adjust was already checked off, and clicking the Auto-Calc Modifiers button in the days leading up to the tournament (after the rosters had already been selected) didn't do anything, either.
Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong? |

Bump.
Can anyone at least confirm whether or not their modifiers are changing on their tournaments/winter leagues, or if they're all still stuck at 1.000? Please? If this was a bug other people were experiencing I feel like someone else would've reported it by now, which means maybe I'm doing something wrong. So far I've experienced it on a 4-team test league trying to set up a 20-game winter league season, and an MLB Quickstart with the AFL. In that 4-team league, using 1878 stats/ratings, one guy hit .678 with 51 HRs (again: in 20 games), and if those are the kinds of results I'm going to get then the whole tournament feature is completely useless at the moment...

Okay, thanks for letting me know.
It seems like, if I run an MLB Quickstart with either the WBC or AFL, the tournament stats come out mostly fine even tho the modifiers stay at 1.000. But if I try to do it with a fictional league the offensive numbers make it look like they're playing on the moon. This is actually a pretty big problem for me since all I play are fictional leagues... |
