Disable Player Development
Any thoughts about the effects of disabling player development in a Historical League when using random rookies from all eras? The manual is not real clear about this.

I use both recalc and player development in random debut historicals for the simple reason that you can't retire players according to history because history is being re-written courtesy of the time machine that keeps bringing players into seasons that they didn't actually play in. Therefore once the real life stats run out and recalc has no influence anymore, the player development system takes over and keeps those guys from repeating their final statistical season ad infinitum. Keeps them honest in other words. If you're not using retire according to history (and you can't with random debut), you should be using player development in addition to recalc.
