Scoreboard too quick
When i play pitch by pitch in broadcast mode, the scoreboard lights up the current pitch result (ball or strike and velo) before the text play by play is finished.

do you have a really new computer or expensive one from within 1-2 years?
you could try lowering your cpu power through windows to ~50% (set to the minimum to max value in teh advanced power options..) ... i wouldn't bomb it to the min value on first try... do a little trial and error... then remember to reset it to 100% for max cpu after done playing, lol. if that does work, google for a program that throttles your pc... it's available because older games tend to need something like this to run on modern machines. if you don't have a top-of-the-line new pc, this probably won't help you, but you could give it a go for a temporary workaround until they fix the bug if there is one. that will slow your pc down a bit... maybe that's the cause - if it's localized. |

I have a new computer, but I don't like the solution to turn it down because I tend to have plenty of programs running at the same time while I'm playing OOTP. Often I also have a baseball game at mlb.tv running on an extra monitor. My current workaround is to move the pbp box down to the lower right corner so that if I focus on that, I don't see the scoreboard. I'm running on the latest patch. I did notice that before the last patch, the pitch locator box also was too quick. That seems to have been fixed. So maybe this scoreboard issue can be fixed as well. But I'm no data code-guy, so... : ) |
