For all you historical players....

I just learned how to get the file in, and I think Historical leagues are great. I was just wondering what year everyone starts in? I started in 1989 and it seems pretty interesting. But what year is the most fun to play in, in your opinion?

Personally I liked 1901 because of the Boston Beaneaters

Wow. That is so hard to say. I guess my favorite would be 1946, just because that is the season I used to start my on-line league

1949...of course.

Actually, my favorite era is 1930-1960...so, anything in between is great!

I always start in 1901 since I like to sim a complete history. I have a file that I simmed 1871-1900 with pretty accurate results so I just always use that as my base file.
