Challenge Mode

Is there a way to change control of trades, active roster, and transactions to me, the GM and not the assistant GM in challenge mode?

I'm playing as the GM on Challenge mode, but Active roster moves, Transactions, trades are all set to the assistant GM. I can't build my own team as the AI keeps trading my player and making terrible signings.

I started in AAA and then moved to a MLB once a time was ready to hire me, could that have affected the team control settings, even though my role is set to GM?

Go to the Manager's Office, Control & Autoplay Settings... you can change it there.

It's has been grayed out/blocked and wont let me change it.
