Game crashes on startup, Tech Support not listed

So I just picked up OOTP 18 this morning, excited to start playing but the game crashes on startup. I went to the tech support forum and followed those directions but OOTP18 isn't a listed as a game I can get support for. Is there somewhere else I could get help? This is pretty frustrating, makes me wonder if I made a mistake with my purchase.

I hope you get the help you need. I have been purchasing this game for over 10+ years now, and I have never had this game crash on install. I hope you don't judge this game on your install experience - get the assistance you need, then analyze the game.
