Unable to sign draftees
Second time this has happened to me in a historical league.
Unlimited Reserve Clause. Draft goes fine, make my offers, get the email (they had email in 1906, who knew?) from the player saying the agree and that they're being assigned to lowest minor league default message. Yet, when viewed, the player is still a draft eligible free agent and not a member of my organization. Both team and player history pages show the contract agreement, and there is no history of a release. Second time I hard closed the game so it wouldn't save, reloaded, and ran the draft again after throwing a bunch of players off my reserve. This resolved the issue. There appears to be a hidden cap of 175 or so with Unlimited Reserve. The problem arises when you let your scout or assistant GM finish the draft and all the players in rounds six through fifty two just fill up the reserve while you're negotiating with the earlier picks. Related: Can we get a tool for mass releases?

apon further incidents, it appears that the number isn't linked to the reserve directly, but to reserve + active rosters. There's a maximum of 200 allowed. I had been keeping my reserve around 100-120 by purging anyone over 25 every year (one by one) but this last season I moved several to the active roster because they had talent and i wanted to see if they could be of use. AI drafted and auto signed 44 (possibly more but they got dropped off too) capping my roster again, and my first round signing went back to unsignable freeagency
