Renaming Trophies

Its a feature that I have always loved about this game. What does everyone else do? Here are mine as of now:

MVP - Ted Williams Trophy
ROY - Jackie Robinson Award
Reliever - Either Eckersley or Rollie Fingers Award (I havent decided yet)
Offense - Babe Ruth Trophy
Manager - Joe McCarthy Award (although I'm thinking maybe Connie Mack because.. you know.. Communism)

I like historical replays, so I'll wait until the awards appeared in real life and then name them based on players that performed exceptionally well. Cy Young almost always stays The Cy Young Award. The others vary greatly...

MVP - Babe Ruth Award
CYA - Cy Young Award (though I'm thinking of calling it the Walter Johnson Award the next time I start a game)
Reliever Award - Mariano Rivera Award
ROY - Jackie Robinson Award
Gold Glove - Ozzie Smith Award
Silver Slugger - Ted Williams Award

I don't have Manager of the Year in my current game as it's in a previous version, and I'm not sure who I would name it after. I'll have to think on it.

In a thread I posted here last night, I said I was using company names like Pepsi, Chevy, John Deere. But I actually kinda like the names better! Nice job, Alpine.

Love seeing stars outta nowhere. One time in a historical sim I had a player who won like 410 games and 'earned' the Best Pitcher Award name after him instead of Cy Young. Also helps create more immersion for me.
