Most Wanted Roster Set

What is the roster set people would most like to see created? Is there a specific historical MLB year someone would like a concise roster set of? Something in the "greatest teams" vein of things? A roster set based on one specific team-like a set of all the greatest Cubs teams in one league? Maybe a realistic independent league roster set?

I'm asking because I'd like to contribute something to the community-and not being a graphics or database kind of guy, I figured this would be the way to go. I'm currently creating an Ankit-based 1998 set-that being the last time expansion took place, but I'd be open to doing just about anything.

There are enough "great" Cub teams to fill a league?!? Must be a small league. I pick Steve Bartman number one overall!!! He is the greatest Cub of them all!!!

In all seriousness, I think making some Roster Mods is a great idea. There are probably several people who would host them for you for download once you finish. Most of the Rosters out there are 2003 stuff. I personally have some great 1970, 1986, and 1993 roster sets that I created. Also be sure to track down all of the picture files for any roster set you create. Having pictures takes it to the next level.

Best of luck!

I'd like to see a roster set of the all-time greatest TEAMS in one place.... 27 Yankees, 75-76 Reds, etc.

Hey Joe, the Legends League will have it all ... the league is set up using the 1998 Yankees as this team enjoyed the most Yankee single season wins of all-time. But, all the Yankee greats are included in the Database. So, you can whip up roster sets in the blink of an eye. Ok, maybe the twist of a wrist. See my posts under "Update - Legends League" to get an idea of what's coming to a ballpark near you soon.
