Lahman DB?

what is it? I have no idea..from looking at some posts i think it deals with historical leagues..i'd just like to know what it is. Thanks in advance.

The players that are created by the game as downloaded and installed are fictional. Lahman's is a collection of data files that are the statistics from MLB history. Once downloaded it can be used to import players for any year and then in career mode, add players each year as they really debuted IRL.

There are many posts as to where to find it and how to install and use it.
