Random debut league with Negro League players thrown in there. That will be fun a few dozen times.

Can I confirm that the following scenario will work as it fits into the scenario I'm intending to set up for my first game.

Looking to start in 1871, sim through to 1901 to build up a bank of players and an early history then add a competing major league. Am I able to choose for this new league to be integrated from the start (not that it will make a difference in the earliest years) while 'MLB' retains the colour bar until 1947? I want my competing league to be in the mix for the best Negro League players when they become available.

On a related topic about minor league players which I haven't been able to find an answer to because I haven't played since OOTP16, if I use historical minor leagues but with real transactions turned off do new players go to the draft or are they automatically assigned to the teams they were with in real life? I love the idea of historical minors, but want the teams to be stocked via the draft.

I've pre-ordered anyway, so will work around if I can't but if separate integration + minor leaguers going into the draft (and ultimately using draft rounds to set up enough FAs to keep my second league stocked) I'll be able to make a significantly improved version of the most fun OOTP save game I've ever had.

Hopefully some of our talented Jersey makers can make some uniforms for these teams so they can't be in the game already

As a long time player and first time poster (constant browser lurker) I have never been more excited for a new ootp game. This should be the greatest one yet, and I still am in love with 2017.
