Game times aren't final yet. My guess is that the OOTP schedule makers are waiting for the times to start coming out.

According to MLB site:
2017 Major League Baseball schedule released | MLB.com

"MLB released its master 2017 regular-season schedule on Wednesday [Dec. 14, 2016] ........"

So i suspect someone will be looking at this in the near future with an idea of creating a schedule for OOTP ..... but i don't know who or when .... could be when the 18 is announced ...

For those who are intrested or currently creating the 2017 MLB schedule for OOTP here are some tips to figure out the TBD game times
Quote:
The MLB uses times for day games: 12:10, 12:35, 12:45, 1:05, 1:10, 1:15, 1:35 local time

For night games the MLB schedules it as: 6:10, 6:40, 7:05, 7:10 and 7:15 local time.
MLB also schedules afternoon games on saturdays: 4:05, 4:35, and 6:05.

Sundays are all day games (mostly 1:05 some 1:15 or 1:35 local) except for a ESPN primetime game, which starts at 8:15 Eastern time .

Mondays and Fridays are all night games (Mostly 7:05, a few 6:40, rarely 6:10,7:35 and some 7:10 and 7:15 local). Rarely, Mondays may include a day game.

Most Tuesdays are all night games. A few Tuedays may have 1, or 2 day games.

Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays have a good mix of day and night games. Saturdays may have afternoon game times

2017 Schedule

I have never created a schedule before. But I tried with this one. It's the 2017 MLB schedule with most of the times set as published by MLB.

Since this is my first try ever, I can't guarantee that it works. But it looks right to me.

2017 International League Schedule

I got inspired by the MLB thing, so here is the 2017 International League schedule. All times are as published by MILB.

It's 142 games per team this season, 71 home and 71 away per team. I haven't tested it yet so backup your league if you want to try it.

Edit: I have edited the file on January 1 since I discovered that I had the wrong team ID's assigned for some teams. This is correct now (at least in my league), but the times are not correct for the moment.

When I loaded your schedule I got the AL West teams mixed up. That's the only error I spotted but bear in mind I didn't do no kind of extensive check.

Here's how they're mixed up (A -> B means team A is "acting as" team B in the schedule):

Astros -> Angels
Angels -> Athletics
Athletics -> Mariners
Mariners -> Rangers
Rangers -> Astros

So, for example, where there should be an Indians @ Rangers on day 2 there's an Indians @ Mariners game in the schedule.

Does the same happen to you? I could easily fix it on notepad using the search and replace function.

I would suggest taking a look at the typical start times for each MLB club in the 2016 schedule, and use that as a guide as to what the 2017 start times would likely be based on the day of the week and the month.

Strange. That didn't happen to me. I guess it has to do with how the teams are listed in the League setup?

I ran it again, with a new league and now I had the same problem as you describe. I have updated the file here (and I will do it above as well).

Obviously the problem was nothing major. Just that I am stupid. But I have learned to live with it... : )

What happened is that the Astros' internal team ID is not the same as the Astros' schedule team ID, because of the move to the American League.

I always check for AL West errors for that reason.

Excellent work but I cannot get the PCL to load, says that 'schedule has a different structure'. I have changed games to 142 but cannot see what else may have changed for 2017. [International League and all 3 Double AA leagues have worked fine]

The schedule's tagged as ILN, but the interleague games setting is set to 1.

Also, is the structure supposed to be case-sensitive?

The PCL is always buggy in my leagues too.

I would check to see if how the PCL is defined: Is it set up as a single league with 4 divisions, or a league with two subleagues, each with two 4-team divisions? If the schedule calls for one arrangement while your league has the other, that's a mismatch and the schedule file won't load.
