Little help: Can't figure out All-Star voting

Ok - here's my situation.

I forgot to schedule an All-Star game before the season in my fictional league. That's fine - I don't really care about playing the actual game anyway.

But I would still like to select All-Star teams for posterity's sake. The problem is when the day comes for All-Star voting to begin, nothing happens.

I've tried to schedule it manually several times and I haven't had any luck.

Am I doing something wrong or am I just out of luck? If I'm out of luck, is there a way I can edit individual players so that the All-Star button/star shows up on their profile page?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I think you can only schedule an All-Star game in game settings during the off season.
