This pitcher is a K/BB beast

My ace, Alfonso Vera, is an absolute beast this year. Check out his K/BB ratio.

As a comparison, the best in MLB history is Phil Hughes with an 11.625 in 2014.

Not sure how to see what the best is in my league (152 years) but I don't think it rivals this.

Here ya go...

I have intentional created a large league (40 leams) but only one league (2 divisions), so the all star game selections and player of the year selections are hard fought awards.

if you can't find it in the nested pages under league history, it's not available in the game. but, it's in the data dumps. i don't know if there is a pre-made option in the Mods section of forums. Also, look into the almanac feature. that may provide the info in a league-wide and historcal order.

I am about 150 years into this league so I a not sure what league totals / modifiers I used. I believe I used 1972 totals. And 1950 financials.

My ace pitcher career has come to an end. As far as I am concerned, it came way too soon. 10 great season then he lost all his stuff.

But 6 Outstanding Pitcher Awards is very, very good and 7 all star games. Not bad at all.

Wow! Talk about falling off a cliff!! The tragedy is he may not even be HoF eligible with his service time below 10 years

Must have gotten injured with his IP dropping 90% from one year to the next.

Nope... No injury. He was a 5 star stud through 2171. Resigned with the Rowdies for big money and lost 2 stars in 2172. 2172 he posted a good record but he was slipping. Came to camp in 2173 as a one star bench warmer, but a really rich one .

Sorry to bump an old thread but I happened to come across it and felt I had to share Aaron Nola's numbers thus far in my online league, solely for the K/BB ratio.

While not quite as impressive as the original poster's star player, my buddy and I were shocked to see Nola's numbers in the 2018 season and then see them take this type of jump thus far for the the 2019 season, too.
