Have done one like this before where I take over as the head coach for a minor league team and do weekly "radio calls" with a local radio station. Got busy and didn't go anywhere with it, but this one will follow the story of an up and coming coach named J. Wolter who has taken over as head coach of the GCL Cardinals. I'll do reports every Sunday of the season to keep everything consistent.

First call to 790 WAXY in Jupiter, Florida.

"Thanks for having me guys. I've been anxious to get the season started and that first game was intense. Couldn't believe we blew the lead there at the end. When we put up some numbers, we expect our pitchers to go back out there and put up some zeros. That didn't happen yesterday, so hopefully today will be a little better. We jumped out to a 3-0 lead but gave them 2 back right away. Put up another 2 in the third and then gave them another 2 as well. It's small things like that that set you back. Then you go into the 9th up 5-4 and go 1-2-3 in the top half before you bring in your closer who proceeds to give up a hit, then makes an error on a bunt, then another hit before a walk off grand slam. It's just not the way we wanted to start the season, but I believe in these young men. They played a great game overall, it was just the end result wasn't ideal."

"Thanks again for having me on, come on out and support the Birds tonight at home. Roger Dean Stadium is a great place to bring the whole family and you can expect a win tonight, that's for sure."
