Game 7 of world series goes 15!

The year is 1975 right now in the league I'm playing. The Boston Red Sox (where I used to live) have advanced to the WS to take on the San Francisco Giants (where I live now, totally by coincedance).

The Sox starting pitcher is Dave Roberts who, in his 2nd year with Boston went 15-9 with a 3.04 ERA (he was 19-7 with a 2.37 era his 1st season). In the playoffs he's been nearly unhittable.

For the Giants it was 26 year old Steve Rogers, who was in his 3rd year in the majors (all 3 for the Giants). During the regular season he went 13-9 with a 3.34 ERA.

Importent Red Sox hitters include, Carl Yastremski (.308-30-124), Carlton Fisk (.287-17-101), Dwight Evans (.283-20-116), Rico Petrocelli (.267-16-103), Tommy Harper (.244-15-72, 41 SB), and my own Created Player "Cid" (.319-23-105, 27 SB).

BTW Fred Lynn and Jim Rice are in AAA, just about ready to come up.

Giant players of importence include:
Willie Mccovey (.277-16-62)
Bobby Bonds (.246-11-42, 39 SB)
Dave Kingman (.200-16-52)
Mario Santiago (.227-30-102)
Dave Rader(.314-13-62)
Gary Maddox (.295-10-44, 14 SB)

Here's the box score

Wow, what a great game 7. And to think most of the runs were scroed in the 15th. San Francisco must have thought they had it sewed up going to the bottom of the 15th.

How did Boston win by 2 runs without a walkoff homer?

MJohnson is exactly right...

Well, it is a fantasy game, so I guess it is ok to have a fantasy boxscore!

That is a good point, I didn't even think about that when I first looked at it.

it was a walk off double bringing in 3 RBI when the sox trailed by one. Just look at the 2Bs area, it says C. Cid 15th inning off Johnson with 3 on and 2 out, it brought in all 3 instead of just the 2 needed for some reason.

guess we have a bug on our hands here

or

he was understandably mobbed by his teammates in between second and third after launching the pitch over the fence and he never went on to touch 3rd or home
