How do I get "back into the game"?

Interesting, but I was able to get the "Attention! Too many players on the active roster" when the first season ended. As can be seen from the roster itself, the case just isn't so. I would save the game and send you the file to examine, however I can't access anything else than by pressing F# buttons to view different things I usually can as well. However pressing anything else doesn't have any effect.

Any suggestions on what to do?

If you're playing the Steam version, attempting to shut the Steam client may force the game to exit, which will save it at that point. If not, you should be able to zip up the save file to send the game to us even if it's still open; that'll only give us the most recent save, but we can at least try to replicate the problem from that.

Indeed, just closing the window made the game save itself. However when I restarted the game and pressed continue playing, just to see what happens.. The problem had vanished!

At this point, all I can say is that it was weird and I have no idea how that happened.
