player development report/comparing players' ratings over time

Love the game, but one of my biggest pet peeves is not being able to easily compare scouted ratings for a given player without doing a lot of scrolling up/down and trying to find the same player in several different player development lists. I've tried exporting ratings to excel every time a player is scouted, but even with filtering, that's a fair deal of excel-ling work.

I was poking around on the wiki about player development, and came across this link from the OOTP16 online manual. This is pretty much what I was would love to see for this report, being able to see how much a particular rating has gone up/down over a selectable amount of time. However, I don't remember the report looking like the picture in '16 or '17. Is there a way to enable this kind of player development report? If not, how do you folks keep track of changes in player development? The report is hard to navigate (and doesn't remember your place when you click on a player).

The player profile has a tab called Player Development. Even it's not the easiest to see the curves you're desiring, but at least it's one player and his set of data/changes.

I do have a fondness for the visual, but don't see the practicality of the potential curve, particularly in light of how potential is utilized in OOTP.

I certainly advocate the first graph, though. Much easier to interpret.

I would definitely settle for that first graph.
