Changing Date of Almanac Generation
I'm setting up a new, short-season fictional winterball league with ten total teams split between two divisions. I want the season to begin on November 1st and last roughly four months (with 80 game seasons).
I've set up appropriate dates for all the events (trading deadline, playoffs, international FAs) but because my season isn't confined to one year, I've noticed that the Almanac creates a 'split' record of each season. (It essentially contains only the first two months of play because of the end-of-the-year generation date) Is there anyway to have the Almanac generate on a different date in order to allow for complete archiving of the winterball season? I know the obvious solution would be to have the season begin on January 1st, but for purely aesthetic reasons I'm tying to see if my November-to-February season concept can work. |

It's not possible to change the default date but you can disable automatic generation and create it yourself on any desired date.
