Which is more challenging to manage?

Which is more challenging to manage through a season? An MLB team where it's the "show"? ( No video game pun intended) Or a MiLB team where your GM keeps yanking and replacing players and you have to keep adjusting the lineups / pitching staff?
I was wavering back and forth whether to take the KC Royals or a decision between the Lexington Legends or Burlington Royals.

I would figure one aspect of it is having to learn a minor league team since you would already know the pro players and have an idea of what they are about, i.e. Hosmer, Cain, Perez, etc.

Id do a MiLB team simply because you only worry about matchups instead of finances and 40 man rosters and the such

MiLB to me is far more challenging. I give up almost every year because I'll always be a MGR in the NY-Penn League and I'll have like 5 Catchers, none of which can play anything other then C or 1B in LF, SS & 3B. Commiit like 5 errors every game. Then I'll have 3 SP and 11+ RP. I can;t get more then 3 innings out of any of the RP who start a game. Eventually my pen will be exhausted. Then the GM will grab my best players and i have to do it all over again.

the MiL team would be more frustrating, for sure. since expectations are different, i don't think it would be more difficult.. just more attention needed to a constantly changing roster even with perfect health.

mil managers aren't really judged on wins/losses... and shouldn't be... they are instructional leagues and you do things that might not necessarily put you in the best position to win, but it does promote development.

in the game i'd assume it's using wins/losses, and that's a bit ridiculous to be fired over if you have no control over the talent you get to utilize... frustration is not the same as difficulty to me. and their primary goal isn't to win, anyway.

managing is mostly an automated process for me. close decisions ar a toss up, but for the most part i understand where a break even point is and easy to make a decision...

e.g. mx + b describes all straight lines you can draw in one plane and relative to 2 perpendicular axises... your managing style may be more complicated but it's really the same thing. More so in a video game! in fact if you don't think this way about hte video game, you should start to, if you want to win more... any video game.

Want to play old school baseball but don't actually want to time travel and play with older teams? Manage/Own an international team. Not sure if it's more challenging but it can be pretty fun in itself. I'm in my 11th season in my mexican league and I finally(!) won a title so it's definitely not a cake walk.

Right. Minor league managers are judged more on how good of a job they did developing players for the next level, wherever that may be in the system.

Wins matter a little more at the AAA and AA levels, but still it's understood that the manager will keep losing his best players and he's there to teach.
