3D continuous play pause
During continuous play would be nice to have an option to set a delay time (2,4,6 seconds etc) between each play to give us a little time to see defensive alignment, who's coming up, etc..

What we need is a hot key for the "Pause Between Plays" check box. As in, you can let the animation happen continuously, then step in when you need to for strategy decisions, or to change a pitcher, etc. It would eliminate the need to constantly have to push the "swing away" or "pitch normally" button.
I'm pretty sure Earl Weaver Baseball came with a pause button between 3D animation plays. Or at least a long enough delay between plays so you could step in and yank the pitcher, hit and run, etc. just like what the OP is suggestion. Might want to post this in the general forum because I would imagine this could be just a tweak in the code.... I think Last edited by drksd4848; 04-01-2016 at 12:13 PM. |

Agreed... the pace is a bit too fast. Would be great if we had the option to slow it down, and determine by how much, as well as pause it when needed.
Heck, Ron Guidry was fast on the mound back in the day but not THIS fast! |

This would be something trivial to hack up in Windows with PowerShell's sendkeyboard-input, or in Linux with a virtual uinput device. Just have a small script loop every X amount of seconds and send a spacebar input.
As far as doing this in OSX, that's an exercise left to the reader. |
