Slow Simming

I like OOTP because: 1) it's a great game and 2) it runs great on my work laptop. Since I travel, it allows me to have a great game available when I can't get to my desktop machine.

My problem, OOTP5 is a real pig on my P4 1.8 laptop because the virus protection software slows it down. We use McAfee and our IT folks have it set up so that you can't disable it (we can have a discussion about that, but with about 100,000 machines out there and the virus problems we've had, I don't blame them). I've installed OOTP5 on my desktop machine, disabled the virus protection, and I can see that it runs great.

OOTP4 ran great on my laptop. As it is, OOTP5 is simply too slow on my laptop to be any fun.

How do I get my money back?
