? about captains

Since it isn't displayed anywhere but the editor is it cheating to look for them? I know players with high leadership can be but not always.

don't think it's cheating ... just part of due diligence for a GM or manager in my opinion.

look up some old threads. some will tell you which attributes add up to a "captain" .. they say relative minimums i think... you could play around in the editor to learn it, too.

you can translate non-editor information from the color-coded verbage for personality traits... "low," "very low" etc or whatever they are match up to a specific % portion of your scale. i just look at colors for the things that don't have numerical values or quick scans with the eye, like personality stuff.

when you see the corresponding levels of leadership and whatever else is needed, you know you have a captain. also, i wouldn't worry about the labels as much as their individual personality ratings. if you ahve strong leadership from, maybe 2-3 captains?, a few bad apples is okay... many moving parts to that, though.

if morale continues to dwindle while other factors remain roughly the same, you know there's too much "stink" on your team. that direction of change can tell you what you need.
