Talk about a game he'll never forget..

..and fans of the WBA as well for that matter.

Mike Holt just hit for the cycle in game 7 of the 2056 WBA World Series. That is damn impressive in its own right, but what makes it flat out legendary..is that he completed the cycle by hitting a walk-off RBI triple in the bottom of the 10th inning. He was also named World Series MVP. Also should note that the Spuds World Series win is their first since 2010.

One of the greatest clutch performances I've experienced in OOTP. The game itself was crazy. One fans surely won't forget.

OOTP keeps finding ways to hook me in and make me say "wow" at least once per day. I love this damn game.

How about a game he'll never forget for very different reasons... My new save, in my second season with the Pirates. Tyler Glasnow's MLB debut:

Oops.

What makes this so tragic, is that in the first series against the Nats, Cole no-hit Max Scherzer's boys on opening day, then Taillon's first start was an 8 inning 3-hitter, and Jeff Locke, despite struggling and giving up 5 in 5, won the final game. This is the last game of the Cards series and we lost the first two by 1 run in extras. Then this...

I like to think the bullpen were all having empathy bad days.

And yes, that is David Ross, former Cubs catcher, pitching the 9th.

GM only, so this is all on Ron Washington (Cole wouldn't sign a new contract while Clint was around). Lost 27-6, incidentally.

Glasnow, now THAT is a rude awakening to the Majors.

I don't think any of your pitchers particularly want to remember that one...
