Custom League Question

Hi, I'm new to OOTP but have used many BB Sims over the years - going back to EWBB.

I have one question - can you create a custom league and use the historical players from different years on one team?

For example - can I make the NY Yankees and have 1927 Babe Ruth, 1961 Roger Maris and 1986 Don Mattingly all on the same team - by using the players that come with the game? I do NOT want to create players manually or edit their stats to do this.

You can import different players, but as far as specifying a particular year, I don't think the game is set up to do that (I might be wrong, it's been a while since I imported a player and my game is in the middle of a 10-year autoplay so I can't check).

Another then that I know 100% you can do, and might be of interest for you, is to import whole teams from different years and play them off in an all-time greats league.

You definitely can specify a year when importing manually 1 at a time or batch add using text file. Text file also allows you to put them on a specific team
