Anybody have an experience playing in the Japanese League (***)?
How fun is it? Do you feel that there is any connection to the players when you start out? Also, is there a way to sign players from the MLB by default, or do you need to have the MLB as a league in the save? Basically i'm just looking for any tips/advice for starting a *** save. Thanks in advance, anything is helpful.

It really depends on how you set up your universe. If you set it up as the *** plus your major leagues then you'll have more variety of free agents that you can maybe sign but remember you'll be competing against mlb teams with deeper pockets so you'll get more fringe/marginal/ok/over-the-hill players rather than big signings. Plus I think the biggest limitation to the international leagues is the fact that there is only 1 level of minors. So pretty much you have very shallow depth of players so dont play with high injuries. I played the mexican league and I'm having lots of fun but like I said there is limitation of what players you can get because of the foreign limit and the depth of your organization (calling up young players is more common just like irl). It's a simpler version of playing with mlb teams but it's still fun and presents different types of challenges.
