Dexter Fowler's rating adjusted way down?
I just started a new game with this season's rosters with the latest update. Dexter Fowler is a 24 overall.
![]() I previously had started a game with this season's rosters before the latest update was available. It might have been two updates ago. His rating was a 52 overall. So far this season Dexter Fowler is playing great! .316/.435/.533 Why did his rating get adjusted down so much or even at all? ![]() I also know someone will respond by saying that I could just edit him. I try my best not to let myself cheat. If I allow myself to adjust his ratings back to about what they used to be, I find it difficult to do that. Why is it so difficult to adjust a player's ratings to something specific?

Either way, it's your game. Play how you want. I had my thread where I cheated to put Riley Pint on my team because my kid plays against him. |

But I find editing and commissioner mode to be a slippery slope. Sometimes once I start making exceptions, I find myself making more and more exceptions. Once I get going it is hard for me to resist those temptations. I allow myself to make some minimal changes, but I try to force myself to adopt certain limits. For instance I allow trading of draft picks and recently drafted players, but I don't allow myself to trade a free agent I signed until around the trading deadline if I'm rebuilding and ideally at least one full season if I'm competitive. |
