Mutual Options

Does including a player opt out and a team option in a contract work like a mutual option or will it break my game?

The player option will get decided on first, and then if they accept, then you'll have a team option on the player.

So it should work, however depending on how exactly we evaluate it all, it's possible he'll decline a deal that's in his favour because he doesn't like the team option portion of it.
