High School Age Problem
So in my game I am getting a funny problem. My high school feeders have wwaaaaayyyy too many 18 year olds and that is creating havoc in the draft.
A 48 team HS league is producing, on average, about 1600 draft prospects. Average High School Population (based on 3 separate HS leagues with 48 teams each) ---------------------------------------------------- 18 year olds - 1600 << should be about 7% less than 17 year olds 17 year olds - 750 << should be about 7% less than 16 year olds 16 year olds - 600 << should be about 7% less than 15 year olds 15 year olds - 350 << this should be the highest Since I have 3 HS leagues, I am getting nearly 4800 prospects in the draft from HS alone! When I delete the entire roster of the league, and fill it with new players, I get the same distribution which is obviously wrong. The total number of players might be ok, but what should happen is that there are more freshmen (15 years olds than anyone) and the other levels should all be very close to each other. I never had this issue in previous OOTP games so I dont know what is going on. I checked the college league and it looks better. College Population (42 teams) ---------------------------------------------------- 22 year olds - 343 21 year olds - 246 <<< this a tad low 20 year olds - 631 19 year olds - 476 18 year olds - 126 If you combine 18 & 19 you get 600 which matches the 20 year old class. At this point people usually drop out or finish their AS degree so you cut it in half and get about 300. 246 is in range so no problem. And the 22 year olds generally match the 21 year olds so that one is ok as well. No problem with college. High school is borked though. Last edited by marc5477; 05-15-2016 at 07:21 AM. |
