History league question

I started a league in 1871. Everything went great until the off-season, when about a lot of players were added to the free agent list. Players like Nolan Ryan, Hank Aaron, Johnny Bench, & Tom Seaver....among others.

Why did this happen and is there a way to fix it?

Sounds like you have the option to import random rookies selected. Look in the historical section and see if that's the case.

I have automatically import historical rookies checked, but I thought that was for rookies in the year your in for the game? Name: Screenshot (15).jpg

You didn't start in 1871. You started in 1971.
