Lack of Ball Flight in Broadcast View
I have a league I created where there are no 3D models for the ballparks, so I have to rely on Broadcast View to watch games that I want to watch. I have Ball Animation enabled on the settings, with ball size normal, but when I watch the games in Broadcast View, the ball does not show up on screen. Is there any way to fix this, or am I doing something wrong?

Yes, at the moment the ball flight is keyed to the sound object, so you need the sound enabled to see the ball movement (you can always mute your computer or delete the sounds files if you don't want them to actually play)

I'll add that there should still be the default ballpark for 3d mode anyway, similar to the stock photo for broadcast view. It's not like the ballpark model actually effects the outcome, it's still the underlying eingine.
That said I still prefer 2d at the moment. Once they make it so 3d syncs properly with full pbp I'll be all for it. |
