Historic Random Players League Broken

I saw something similar posted days ago, but did not see an update. I also have not uploaded the game file. I have had these same errors since the 18th.

Here are some of the key points:

* Historic league with random players from all eras.
* I am the GM with full control selected over everything for my team in commissioner mode, yet that is not the case. The computer manager sets lineups, changes the rotation, signs players, etc. even though it says I have full control.
* At the end of the first season, at least half of my players disappear & are replaced by random players.
* Most of the time I have started these leagues in the year 1921 & after the season players from that era just appear in the free agent pool.
* The draft class is often very poor with one 80 potential player. Most of the good players are randomly appearing on rosters or go directly to the free agent listings.
* The add-on for historic pictures only works on random players.

I have tried to restart this about 6-7 times, including deleting & reinstalling, yet the same issues keep occurring. At this point the game in this mode is unplayable. I played this exact same mode in OOTP16 & everything worked fine. I love this game & wanted to support it for OOTP17, but there are some huge issues that need to be corrected. Is this a known issue that is being worked on?
