Talking OOTP nerds unite!!

last season it was how big of a nerd are you

http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...-nerd-you.html

Lets up the ante` this season... shall we?

yep, that's 3 ootp's. Left screen is running a long term, full mlb game, sim. Middle screen is running the steam version (the game could be a bit more touchscreen friendly, if you ask me), that's my online league I was looking at. screen on the right is really a bit of a simulation....

that particular copy is on a Linux box from earlier in beta, but it's not activated. I used it to test the exhibition and 3d on a Linux box, but it's demo timer expired and I have already used my last activation on the computer that hosts my home webserver. That sits on my second desk, maybe 15 feet away. it allows me to check add-on central file & attempt to verify issues and/or gather data. because I include the full league history in the html pages it takes something like 36 hours to run the html reports. Having it on the server machine allows me host the almanacs & html pages for the long-term sim. so I only run those every 10 seasons or so. but because they run on the server, it takes no time to move them there. I would show a pic of the server but it's running maintenance and I don't want to interrupt. I need it to finish it's just about time to run the next batch of html pages and i'd like to start it before bed

I could actually use another license

that's fantastic! But where do you keep the TV to watch the real MLB while you're playing three OOTP games?

This is the truth and it's the only thing I prefer in AM radio. Something about that grainy sound is amazing for baseball.

This is the only important question. No TV to watch MLB TV, no true nerddom.

According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.
