New to the Game

Ok I just picked up OoTP 17 (not sure how this game has stayed off my radar all these years) and I downloaded a photo set and I have absolutely no idea what to do with it. Are there step by step instructions that someone could point me to?

I'm sure you veterans have answered this a million times. Apologies. And thanks in advance.

Which photo set? Ultimately, the photos need to be placed in the photos folder.

Out of the Park Baseball 17 > data > photos

Hmm. OK I did that. I created a folder called photos in /data. I still don't see any player photos though. And I changed the custom data path in Settings to be that path. I tried it without that path too and it wasn't working either.

The one I downloaded was simply called Facepack.

For PC, under documents it goes OOTP Developments>OOTP Baseball 17>Pictures. There should be an option when you start a new game to load from that file

If you downloaded it through Add-Ons Central, you'll have to hit the INSTALL button next to the listing in Add-Ons Central. The photos will be automatically placed in the correct folder.

If this doesn't work, let us know if you're on a PC or MAC.

Sorry to piggyback off of this thread, but I'm also new to the game and can't even find where to download a photo set.

I'd appreciate any help you guys can give me.

Go to Add-ons Central which is located in the file tab drop down and then follow pstrickert's instructions 2 posts up.

I try this but when I click open Workshop I receive a message that I need an app to open the workshop any ideas?
