I've never used the Rolen rosters and I have a few questions. First of all, when loaded, how do you change the league name from "Rolentest"? Second, once the league is up and running as a career league, can new real rookies be imported when available? In a league that I belong to now, the ammy draft creates fictitional rookies, so after all of the real names finally retire, there will only be a bunch of bogus players instead of the real minor leaguers who will be future stars. I know that Rolen is the go-to guy for these questions, but has anybody done this yet?

As long as Lahman continues to update the database each year from where the new minor leaguers come from, this will be possible.

You can change the league name using Pierre's editor. As far as "importing" new rookies there really won't be any need to since most of the "up and coming" star minor leaguers are already in the roster set. Any importing of rookies must be done through use of the database found at the baseball archive and is for "past" seasons or historical play, primarily.
You can always "create" any players you wish to add using create a player in the free agent pool. [ January 26, 2002: Message edited by: OOTP1 ]

Steve, thanks for the knowledge on changing the league name. I did not know that myself, been trying to figure out how to change for awhile.
Also that is correct that updating for the new rookies would give you double players as I have added all of the prospects each team has pretty much through their top 50 players or more. The only players missing right now basically have not been drafted yet and are still in high school or college :-) [ January 26, 2002: Message edited by: Rolen17 ]
