Link did NOT restore build 37
Markus,

In response to your post at the top of the stickies, I tried to revert to build 37 after installing build 38. The download link did its usual thing, but when the game launches it is STILL build 38. Am I missing something?

I am still on 17.5.38 Did not go back to 17.5.37

What is going on ?

I don't know. Have you installed it to the exact same location? Try uninstalling it first (but back up your saved games).

  1. Unlicense the game
  2. Uninstall the game
  3. Install 17.5.37
  4. License game
  5. Enjoy

when it came to uninstall, windows uninstall box asked if i wanted to leave my saved games etc .... i did, and everything looks perfect on reinstall. Changed my skin to default, and that's about it. All my add-ons were there!!! Thanks for the heads up.

This going back thing has caused my files to be corrupt !

Maybe 17-5-40 will come out and fix it all. I always have an issue with un-licensing for some reason.

man, that's a bummer. maybe another uninstall (un-license) and install? i had similar issue with one of the 16 updates after i skipped one, and it took me half a day of tinkering with files and drinking a lot of cooling down beverages to figure i needed to un-license/uninstall and start all over. Not saying that's your issue, just that i feel your angst! Good luck.

That's the right way to fix problems whenever your copy of the game gets messed up
