Minors Historical Auto Draft Question

I have searched for an answer for the following question but could not find it, must be getting old:

For those who select the Option for "Automatically import historical rookies" but with No Draft so the rookies will show up on their MLB historical team, will OOTP17 automatically import the Minor Leaguers to their corresponding Minor League team?

don't know about 17 - but in 16, they go into players for designed assignment. you have 10 days to either drop them into minors, majors, release or trade them. (That's under your team, rosters & transactions, [drop down menu] players designed for assignment.) I'm going to assume it's similar in 17 but we'll know for certain in a few days. Hope that's what you were asking ....
